100% Natural - Devoid of Liposomes, Bio-enhancers, Micelles, Phospholipid Complexes, Structural Analogues etc.

Key Ingredients

The natural turmeric matrix is obtained through three distinct processes - isolation of curcumin crystals with 95% purity, extraction of water soluble fractions such as carbohydrate, dietary fiber, turmerin protein etc and separation of the non-polar molecules – the oil part of turmeric including turmerones and other sesquiterpenes.

The water soluble protein-turmeric- is more efficient to cross over the lipid bilayer thus these three entities together will make a polar-non polar entity, and the curcumin is well sandwiched as a single entity inside this matrix. These molecules can easily pass through the lipid membrane, as the curcumin is lipidic in nature.

CurcuShield recreates the complete natural turmeric matrix with active nanosolubilized curcuminoids (20%). Our unique formulation preserves the natural matrix of turmeric and 10 promises a multifold increase in the bioavailability of curcuminoids, thereby providing superior pharmacological benefits.

Curcumin is a highly pleiotropic compound, isolated from the plant Curcuma longa, commonly known as turmeric. The compound has been shown to possess anti-inflammatory, hypoglycemic, antioxidant, wound-healing, and antimicrobial activities. Extensive preclinical studies over the past three decades have showcased that curcumin may have therapeutic potential to provide protection against a wide range of human diseases. Such preclinical studies have formed a solid basis to evaluate curcumin’s efficacy in clinical trials. It has been shown to benefit various inflammatory conditions, metabolic syndrome, pain, and to aids in managing inflammatory and degenerative eye conditions. In addition, curcumin may also have positive consequences on kidney diseases, given its antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative effects.

Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties are considered to be the two primary mechanisms of curcumin that provide the majority of the effects on various conditions. Curcumin has been shown to improve systemic markers of oxidative stress and increases serum activities of antioxidants such as superoxide dismutase (SOD).

Benefits:
  • Preservation of the natural matrix increases curcuminoid bioavailability
  • Curcumin enhances protection against diseases linked to metabolic syndrome and inflammation
  • Improves systemic markers of oxidative stress and increases serum activity of antioxidants

Vitamin C, also referred to as ascorbic acid, is vital for the growth, development and repair of all the tissues in the body. It is involved in several body functions such as forming of collagen, absorbing iron, boosting the immune system, wound healing, and the maintenance of cartilage, bones, and teeth. Vitamin C is also an antioxidant that aids in regenerating other essential antioxidants in the body.

Vitamin C is responsible for the proper absorption of iron, making it a helpful for overall health. It improves the absorption of non-heme iron and plays a vital role in building connective tissue and wound healing. It also delays the damaging effects of free radicals on the skin and body. Vitamin C is also responsible for collagen production in the body, which is an important element in the structure of bones and muscles.

This supplement contain the vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid (it has equivalent bioavailability to that of ascorbic acid that occurs naturally in foods). It may be taken orally as a treatment or precaution against many other illnesses commonly associated with vitamin C deficiency.

Benefits:
  • Vitamin C or ascorbic acid aids wound healing and is essential for tissue growth and repair
  • This nutrient is essential for iron absorption and healthy immune function
  • Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin and body from free radical damage

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a fat-soluble molecule found naturally in the cell membranes of our body. It can be endogenously synthesized and is essential for the efficient transfer of electrons within the mitochondrial oxidative respiratory chain and adenosine triphosphate production. CoQ10 can increase the production of antioxidants in the body that is particularly beneficial in reducing vascular oxidative stress among hypertensive patients. CoQ10 also helps reduce levels of lipid peroxidation via the reduction of pro-oxidative compounds. This vitamin-like molecule can help protect blood vessels via the preservation of nitric oxide.

CoQ10 reduces the proliferation of free radicals by activating and increasing anti-apoptotic processes, thereby providing superior anti-inflammatory benefits.

CoQ10 helps improve endothelial function in the peripheral circulation of patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus with hyperlipidemia. CoQ10 also shows potential to decrease pain and fatigue compared to placebo in patients with fibromyalgia.

Benefits:
  • Through its impact on mitochondrial oxidative respiratory chain and adenosine triphosphate production CoQ10 boosts energy levels
  • Increases protection from various health conditions like diabetes and heart disease through enhanced antioxidant protection
  • CoQ10 can provide relief from pain and fatigue symptoms in chronic diseases like fibromyalgia
